Earlene Evans, 85, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, entered into rest on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Fort Smith. She was born December 17, 1935 in Hackett, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Earl and Tina (Brown) Cantrell. She was a retired employee of Sparks Housekeeping and a member of Amity Baptist Church. Earlene was loved by so many and she touched the lives of everyone that she met. Her greatest joy in life was her family and her friends and above all her son’s. She was a beautiful woman who loved life and lived life to the fullest. Her presence will be missed by everyone that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Evans, and son, Keith Hamby; and one sister, Ruby. Survivors include her life long companion, Bill, two sons, Ronny and Roger Dale Hamby, sister, Eula Cumbie, three grandchildren, Casey Hardin, Lindsey Pero and Missy Neal; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2021 at Amity Missionary Baptist Church, Hackett, Arkansas with interment at Providence Cemetery, Slaytonville, Arkansas. Family will receive friends, Sunday, February 7, 2021 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Amity Missionary Baptist Church, Hackett, Arkansas.
