Obituary

Mary Alice Bowen, 87, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, entered into rest on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  She was born March 1, 1933 in Charleston, Arkansas the daughter of the late Buel and Kate Wassen Lyle.  Survivors include her husband, Bill; daughter, Renee Henning, step daughters,  Teri Schoephoerster, Becky Robertson and Nancy Smith; Son, Jimmy and wife Tresa Sargent, step sons,  Mark Bowen and Bobby Bowen; twenty grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.  Private family service will be held with public interment at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2021 at Parks Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jimmy Sargent, Daniel Young, Matt Garland, Trevor Henning, Brent Sargent and Paul Richmond.  Memorials may be made to the First Freewill Baptist Church, P O Box 506  Charleston, Arkansas 72933.
