Sarah N. Turner of Barling, Arkansas passed away February 13, 2021. She was 83 years old. She was the second child of James A. King and Mildred L. King. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, her brother, Tommy G. King, sister; Ella Ann Owen. Most recently her husband of 64 years, Don F. Turner. She is survived by her son, Leo G. Turner
(Buddy) and wife Barbara, her daughter, Sharon Core and husband Kendal. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Casey Turner, Dustin Turner, Kansas Core and Kaley Core; two great grandchildren, Corbin and Alex Turner. She is also survived by one brother, Jimmy King and wife Pat. Her words were "her children and grandchildren were her gifts" The family say she was ours. Sarah was a member of Beta Sigma Phi (she was their Queen at one time) and Eastern Star. She was a retired fashion buyer for Hunt's Department Store, The Boston Store, former manager of Brands Western Store. She owned and managed her own store the Sara-K Shop and another Our House Collectibles. Fashion and style remained something she never gave up. She was a barrel racer, a horse trainer and competitor. One of greatest joys besides her family. She was a member of several barrel racing associations and rodeo associations in which she won many awards. To say she will be missed is such an understatement. Until we see you in heaven we love you with all our hearts. Cremation under direction of Smith Mortuary, Charleston, Arkansas.
